Ryobi PBLHM101K Key Features
The Ryobi HP Hammer Drill features the brand’s advanced battery electronics to give this tool cooler operation, better runtime, and quicker drilling.
In hard numbers, the Ryobi HP model delivers the same 750 in-lbs of torque we saw from the Ryobi Brushless Hammer Drill. It couples that, however, with bigger numbers when it comes to speed and hammering ability. The result is faster drilling in masonry and concrete—and better runtime in wood-drilling applications.
For instance, the Ryobi HP Hammer Drill features a two-speed gearbox that delivers between 0-500 rpm in low speed, and between 0-2,100 rpm in high speed. It delivers between 0-31,000 IPM, drilling through masonry 29% faster than the brand’s previous efforts.
It’s hard to explain, but the tool also feels a bit more robust. The grip, stance, chuck, and heft seem more like what we keep experiencing in premium Pro-level tools. It has a bit more girth, but Ryobi did a great job with the balance on this hammer drill.
Like the P1813, the Ryobi HP features a 24-position clutch and variable speed trigger to give you full control when drilling and driving.
An all-metal, keyless, ratcheting 1/2″ chuck holds bits securely while simultaneously allowing for quick and convenient bit changes.
Ryobi keeps the above-trigger LED worklight so you can light up your work surface while drilling.
